Young people should be taught English so that when they go abroad, they can effectively communicate with others. Also, support for international causes like the global war on terror would be nice. After all, we don't want to see Washington, London, or Poland blown up.

I like what the Spanish lady said about her fear that the conglomeration of the European countries may lead to more disparity between it and the rest of the world (Eastern countries, as she specified in the movie, and also because they are constantly mal-represented in the European media). I think it will be a very negative result if Europe becomes more enclosed and separates itself from the "Other" countries.
